Bizspeed’s Super Car Block Party at Off The Hookah

The Smell of exhaust and rich mixtures lined the streets at Off the Hookah as Bizspeed.net hosted its Supercar Block Party. Rare monsters like the Nurburgring Edition LFA crowd surfed to the live music and enjoyed the free food. As the cars revved up the party got hotter.

Only JM Custom Creations could treat the pavement to this F1 inspired beast. It was a beautiful night in Down Town Fort Lauderdale.  Matte exterior challenged gloss displays of speed and luxury. European Super Sedans and Coupes posted up and down the way while Off the Hookah glowed. Ferocity understated – the UK was represented by Mclaren’s MP4-12C as well as the Lotus Evora. Bespoke everything in the McLaren and Lightness in the Lotus are the legendary trademarks of these British marques.

A duo of Gallardos squared up against a pair of AMG tattooed Coupes that held up the place.  The Italian machines would not be out done and Modena released the 360.   Japan Defended 2 eras of Sports cars with high speed visibility and stability offered up by Ayrton Senna. The blue NSX is awesome.

Godzilla crushes all Sports Cars and has begun to prey on Hyper Cars. Beastmode. This Billet Design Motorsports tuned Nissan GTR is hungry, drooling. Doesn’t the GTR seem like the modern day version of the Supra? There were 2 of the classic Toyota GT cars – both offering additional performance via increased boost.

Lamborghini responds and the wale of the V10 sounds like the running of the bulls. European Super Cars like the M3, S5 and S6 teamed up against a swarm of Vipers in all different color poison. The V10 of the Viper is a massive 8+ Liter displacement and belches a tune vastly different to that of the 5+ Liter Gallardo. The ACR version Viper is a next level of hardcore weaponry as it has recently reclaimed the Factory Car Nurburgring lap record!

20th Annual British Classic Car Show

Sorry to interrupt but you can find the 2014 Classic Car Show Here – http://kwcworld.com/2014/02/17/21st-annual-british-car-show/

The good folks of the Gold Coast British Sports Car Club have done it again. For the 20th Time!! This years British Classic Car Show was a treat with top marques from accross the pond gathered in Boca’s Plaza Real. The cars were amazing with survivors and fully restored examples alike. Representative of the expansive British automobile history, there were vehicles from the 1930’s clear through 2013. MG’s in every color lined the park showing off there fun, sporty style with or without a top. Jaguar’s squared off old versus new with the E-Type’s length and distinctive overhangs giving a clear indication as to where late models get their design cues. Lotus’ models were low and lean – both new and old – somethings never change! There were TVR’s albeit only one Model 2500 in attendance – my favorite vehicle of the show and our cover car. Rolls Royce’s, Austin Healey’s, Jensen Healey’s as well as more obscure brands such as the BSA Scout and Facel Vega were in attendence – this show was a joy from beginning to end.

As a 50th celebration of the MGB, the Mini Cooper and the Triumph Spitfire, there were plenty examples of these timeless machines. As a Mini owner and enthusiast myself, these cars offer a driving joy and spirit like no other. One thing that these British vehicles have in common is their underlying sporty nature and driver oriented focus. The British automobile enthusiasm is alive and well with hundreds of owners and spectators enduring the varying weather as the day saw clouds and rain as well as bright sun and heat. On to the pics – Thanks for visiting!
